Head coach of Ghana’s Black Queens, Kim Lars Bjorkegren has spoken ahead their epic quarter-final clash against Algeria - describing them as a well organized club and will have to productive if they want to qualify 

The Black Queens have set up a crunchy quarter final game against Algeria in the ongoing 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations having finished second in Group C 

After a defeat and a draw from their opening two matches, the Queens exhibited a five-star performance to marmalade Tanzania by 4-1 in their final group game to record their first win of the tournament 

Goals from Princella Adubea, Alice Kusi, substitute Evelyn Badu and London City FC forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah were enough to send the Queens to the next round

In a pre-match presser, the Swedish tactician heaped praises on their opponents but is very optimistic if they make good use of their chances they will advance to the semi final

“Algeria are a really well-organised team, especially in defence, and they have a good goalkeeper.

“We’ve talked about the need to make it a little more difficult for her. We can’t just shoot from 45 meters and hope for the best. We need to create better chances and be clinical. There’s no need to look for fancy goals.”

The game is slated for 16:00GMT at the Stade Municipal de Berkane
