Medeama SC clinched a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Nations FC on matchday seven of the Ghana Premier League, thanks to a first-half goal from Osah Tetteh.

The decisive strike came in the 23rd minute, allowing Nebosja Kapor's side to secure three vital points at the TNA Stadium. Tetteh’s goal was a highlight of a fiercely contested first half, where he showcased impressive build-up play, finding space just inside the box and calmly slotting the ball past the Nations FC goalkeeper, leaving the visitors’ defense scrambling.

This goal was particularly significant for Medeama, who entered the match looking for redemption following a 2-0 defeat to Bechem United in their previous outing.

Despite taking an early lead, Medeama faced determined resistance from Nations FC, who were eager to bounce back into the game. The visitors, who had been unbeaten prior to this fixture, showed moments of attacking intent but struggled to penetrate Medeama's disciplined defense.

In the second half, Nations FC came out with renewed vigor, pushing forward in search of an equalizer. They created several dangerous chances, but Medeama's goalkeeper, Kofi Mensah, was up to the challenge, making crucial saves to maintain his team’s lead.

As the game progressed, Nations FC's frustration mounted, but Medeama remained resolute, maintaining their compact shape and looking for opportunities to counterattack.

Kapor’s men managed the game effectively in the closing stages, using their experience to secure the narrow victory. This win marks Medeama’s fourth of the season and their second at the newly renovated TNA Stadium, bringing their points total to 14 out of a possible 21. The result also helps stabilize their campaign after a series of inconsistent performances early in the season.

For Nations FC, this defeat ends their unbeaten run in the league.
