Vision FC were left to rue missed chances as Dreams FC battled back to claim a hard-fought 1–1 draw in their Ghana Premier League matchweek 4 encounter at the Tuba Astro Turf on Sunday afternoon.

It was the visitors, Vision FC, who drew first blood through attacking midfielder Daniel Yemoh, who opened the scoring in the seventh minute (4+3’) with a precise low finish after a swift attacking move cut through the Dreams defence.

Dreams FC who were playing at home and determined to avoid another defeat struggled to find their attacking spark in the first half but improved after the interval, pushing higher up the pitch and asking more questions and struggling to break down the Eewo Boys organised backline for much of the first half.

After recess, the Still Believe Boys pressure was eventually rewarded in the 71st minute, when returning striker John Antwi, making his third stint with the club, dashed forward to fire home a tidy poacher’s equalising spot kick to bring the home fans to life

Despite being on home turf, Dreams FC saw slightly less of the ball, recording 48% possession, while Vision FC edged the battle for control with 52%.

In attack, the visitors created the clearer openings, registering five shots on target compared to Dreams’ two, but neither side could find the cutting edge to claim maximum points.

The draw ensures both sides remain unbeaten over the weekend, though Vision FC have climbed to the 8th spot with five points as it may feel they had enough chances to leave Tuba with all three points.

For Dreams FC, they are lurking on 16th position on the league table as the result provides a small pinch boost, with the team showing resilience to fight back and secure a point after going behind early.
