Nations FC returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion as a sensational hat-trick from left winger Emmanuel Annor powered them to a 3–2 victory over Eleven Wonders in their 2025/26 Ghana Premier League match week seven clash at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon.


The Abrankese side came into the fixture needing a response after recent inconsistency, and they found it in the electrifying Annor, who produced a performance full of precision, pace and clinical finishing.


Nations FC took control of the early proceedings, moving the ball with purpose and pinning their visitors into their half. Their dominance was rewarded after just 15 minutes when Emmanuel Annor nicked a delightful effort beyond goalkeeper Joseph Baah to open the scoring.


The winger doubled his tally ten minutes later, timing his run perfevtly in finishing with composure to put Nations FC 2–0 ahead and firmly in command.


However, Eleven Wonders refused to fade. Midfielder Frank Awere struck in first-half stoppage time (45+4’), latching onto a loose ball inside the area to halve the deficit and give his side hope heading into the break at 2–1.


The second half began with renewed intensity from the hosts, and Emmanuel Annor completed his hat-trick in the 55th minute, dispatching a good strike to restore Nations FC’s two-goal cushion and send home supporters into jubilant celebration.


But the match was far from settled. Eleven Wonders striker Daniel Lomotey Agbloe powered home a superb header in the 73rd minute to make it 3–2, sparking a late surge from the visitors as they chased an equaliser.


Despite mounting pressure, Nations FC held their nerve defensively, surviving several tense moments to see out the win.


The victory lifts Nations FC to 12th place on the league table with 8 points after seven games, easing early-season pressure and restoring belief within the team.


Eleven Wonders, meanwhile, remain 17th with just 2 points, still searching for their first league win after recording two draws and five defeats in their opening fixtures. The pressure continues to mount on the Accra-based side as they look to avoid slipping deeper into the relegation battle.


Nations FC will hope this result marks the start of a steady climb up the table, while Eleven Wonders must quickly regroup if they are to turn their season around.
