Francis Andy Kumi, the striker for Kotoku Royals, is considering a potential comeback to his former team, Asante Kotoko.
During the previous campaign, Kumi struggled with the Porcupine Warriors. However, he was designated as a squad player due to injuries in the last season, in which Kotoko was declared champions.
Despite this setback, Kumi's attacking skills have gained him recognition, and he has already scored eight goals for Kotoku Royals since joining them in February.
Kumi and his struggling team are set to face Medeama SC in a Premier League match this afternoon, hoping to increase his goal tally.
When asked about the possibility of returning to Asante Kotoko, Kumi said, "Why not? They made me who I am today. With my current performance, I believe it's Kotoko who made me who I am, and I won't say no to them if they come for me. I will go, but my focus is currently on Kotoku Royals."
Kumi signed with the Porcupine Warriors in 2021 from UniStar Academy, but he was unable to secure a spot in the team due to injuries. The 23-year-old managed to score four goals in 16 games for the Reds.
