Asante Kotoko have ended their interest in Ivorian forward David Dosso Inza, with the striker returning to his home country after the club decided not to proceed with a potential deal.
The Porcupine Warriors, who currently sit second on the Ghana Premier League table, had been assessing Dosso Inza as part of efforts to reinforce their attacking options for the second half of the season.
However, following a period of evaluation and internal discussions, Kotoko’s technical team opted against completing the signing, effectively bringing the club’s pursuit of the forward to an end.
The decision signals a shift in transfer strategy, as Kotoko now turn their full attention to alternative targets in the January transfer window. The club remains keen to add firepower to its squad as it pushes to sustain its title challenge.
With the mid-season window now in focus, Kotoko are expected to intensify their search for a forward who aligns with their tactical demands and can deliver immediate impact.
The development highlights the fast-moving and competitive nature of the January transfer market, where plans can change quickly. For Kotoko, the priority remains strengthening the squad with the right profile of player as they chase the Ghana Premier League title.
