Obuasi AshantiGold guardsman, Tijani Joshua, says his team will escape the claws of relegation despite their performance in the Ghana Premier League.
The defending league champions have struggled throughout the start of the season, but the 24-year-old defender is optimistic his side will not be relegated at the end of the ongoing season.
The talented left back was in action for the Obuasi based club in their slim 1-0 home win over Inter Allies on Sunday.
After 19 rounds of matches ,the Aboakese lads are at the 10th position on the league log.
“We’ve had a difficult period. Last season was fantastic, this season has been tough, but we’re looking forawd to turn things around as we hope to stay in the league for next season," he said.
“We’re working hard to make things right. Not every single minute of your career will go well,individually and collectively.It's not every season that will go how you want it to go, but then it depends on how you quickly you react to such unfortunate happenings," he added.
