Kurt Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has reiterated his commitment in quelling the issue of bad patronage of the local league.
In recent years, the GFA has endured some barrage of criticism for the poor attendance at our various stadias and match venues.
However, Okraku has entreated the clubs and the media to work conjointly with the GFA in promoting the league and totally do away with the issue of low attendance.
"I think everyone will have to play a big part in ensuring that fans patronize our league," said Okraku. "I have reiterated our (GFA) desire to promote the league, and it is also important for the clubs to promote themselves and also get closer to the media to work towards the common vision."
Okraku, despite the plethora of criticism hovering around his administration, would be seeking another four years in the upcoming GFA elections, which would be held in Tamale on September 27.
