The new Eleven Wonders coach, Emmanuel Aidoo, has conceded that managing the struggling Premier League outfit is no easy task, calling it a high-risk assignment.
Aidoo took over following the departures of Nii Odartey Lamptey and J.E. Sarpong amid internal issues and has already overseen some early success. The Accra based club recorded their first win of the season in the FA Cup and followed it up with a 2–0 Premier League victory over Dreams FC on Monday, ending an 11-game winless run.
Despite the positive start, Aidoo revealed that his main task remains ensuring the club avoids relegation.
“I’ve been tasked to ensure that Eleven Wonders does not go into relegation, but I must say that accepting the challenge to coach Eleven Wonders was a risk,” he told Asempa FM.

The coach also confirmed that players’ salaries are up to date.
“As far as I know, the Eleven Wonders players have been paid their monthly salaries,” he added.
Eleven Wonders, currently bottom of the league with six points, will face Swedru All Blacks in Matchday 13 this Sunday as Aidoo looks to build on his early superb take off.
