Hearts of Oak head coach, Abubakar Ouattara, has called on the club’s passionate fan base to offer constructive criticism instead of personal insults in response to recent setbacks.
Following Hearts of Oak's 1-0 defeat to newly promoted Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League, the team has faced intense scrutiny from both fans and the media.
Ouattara acknowledged that criticism is part of the game but stressed that personal attacks can damage team morale and hinder performance.
He emphasized that constructive feedback can guide the team in identifying areas for improvement, while insults only create negativity.
"We need constructive criticism to improve, but insults will not help us," Ouattara stated, as he seeks to rebuild confidence and regain momentum after the disappointing result.
The coach believes that with fan support, Hearts of Oak can rise again and restore the club's past glories. "Let’s rally behind our darling club to restore the club’s lost glory. United we stand, divided we fall," he pleaded, urging Phobians to stand together and focus on shared success.
