Former Asante Kotoko captain, Isaac Amoako, has urged the club to turn around their fortunes in the CAF inter-clubs competitions next season.
Asante Kotoko are the champions of the Ghana Premier league and will be representing the country in the CAF Champions league.
The Porcupine Warriors are reported to have started talks to bolster their squad ahead next season.
Board Chairman, Kwame Kyei, insists that they will support the team to participate in Africa, and said they will keep their marksman Franck Mbella Etouga.
Asante Kotoko will play their final game of the season against Accra Lions at the Accra Sports stadium today.
Isaac Amoako says the club should make an impact in the Champions league next season after winning the league.
"I said before the season that anytime Kotoko goes outside for pre-season they do well and win the league," he told Kessben TV.
"The team should start preparing for Africa now that they've qualified. What's ahead of them is huge," he claimed.
"They've done well and so the leaders should keep putting measures in place.
"The Africa(CAF Champions leagu) that they will be participating they should prepare well so that they can make Ghana proud.
"The Africa (CAF champions league) that we're unable to do anything meaningful this time around it should be the turning point," he added.
