Karela United head coach Nurudeen Amadu has insisted that his side will treat every opponent in the Ghana Premier League with equal respect and determination, while avoiding fear or complacency.
The Pride and Passion lads have made a steady start to the 2025/26 campaign, collecting four points from their opening two matches — a win and a draw — to sit in a promising early position on the league table.
Looking ahead to their Matchday 3 fixture against Medeama SC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Sunday, Amadu acknowledged the quality of Ghana’s traditional powerhouses but maintained his side would not be overawed.
“Clubs like Medeama SC, Hearts of Oak, and Asante Kotoko will surely present us with a lot of problems because of their experience and quality,” he told Graphic Sports.
“But we are not going to underestimate or over-respect anyone. We will prepare to play every team with the same seriousness.”
Amadu’s remarks underline Karela’s intent to compete fiercely across the campaign as they look to build momentum in the early weeks of the season.
