Ebusua Dwarfs Board member, J.F Mensah, insists that they want justice to prevail and are not ready to participate in the play-offs.
Ashanti Gold have been demoted into the Division Two together with Inter Allies, after they were found guilty of match manipulations by the Disciplinary committee (DC) in their week 34 fixture in the 2020/21 season.
Subsequently, the appeals committee have rejected their request to overturn the decision of the DC.
Per reports, Ashanti Gold are on the verge of securing an injunction on the Ghana Premier league and will file their case at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
The Ghana Football Association have announced that the second placed Division One sides, in each Zone, will feature in a play-off to determine who replaces Ashanti Gold in the top-flight.
However, Ebusua Dwarfs believes that they need to replace Ashanti Gold after their demotion because in the 2020/21 season, Ebusua Dwarfs were relegated after placing sixteenth but believes that if Ashanti Gold's match fixing allegations had been adjudicated expeditiously, they would have remained in the league because Ashanti Gold would have been automatically relegated and they would have finished fifteenth- saving them from relegation.
J.F Mensah insists that they want the Ghana Football Association to do the right thing by allowing them to play in the Ghana Premier league and not in the play-off.
"There are certain things justice is what we're talking about," he told Kessben TV.
"It's not that we are not able to win to qualify but justice need to be served so we're seeking justice that's what we're talking about and not going to play play-off.
"We think that those who decided that there should be play-off weren't fair to us," he insisted.
