Head coach of the Mali national team, Tom Saintfiet has named a strong 25-man squad for their crunchy 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers games against Ghana and Comoros.
The squad comprised of key players like Mohamed Camara, Lasine Sinayoko, Kamory Doumbia but are surprisingly without Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma which obviously is because to sort his recent transfer issues as he’s been linked with a move to Galatasaray.
The Eagles were not impressive in the last window having drew goalless at home to Central African Republic after they had edged Comoros by 3-0 away from home.
They are now occupying the fourth spot on the Group I table with 9 points and will have to win all their two matches in this international to enhance their qualification chances.
Mali will face Comoros in what will be a home game to them at the Stade Municipal de Berkane in Morocco on September , before they travel to Accra to play the Black Stars in four days time.
