The relegated Swedish top-flight side have announced the capturing of the teenager of Nigerian heritage from the Danish elite division outfit on a long-term deal
Danish-born Nigerian teen Noah Ayorinde has joined Swedish Superettan club Östers IF from Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjælland on a four-year contract, the club have confirmed.
The 18-year-old winger, who has had a stint at FC Copenhagen academy ranks, is joining up with the Spiris Arena campaigners following spells with FC Nordsjælland U17 & U19 setups during the 2024 football season.
An official statement confirming the signing of the promising Nigerian prospect winger reads: ''The attacking talent who recently turned 18 was raised in FC Copenhagen but most recently came from playing for FC Nordsjælland. Ayorinde has roots in Nigeria but is a Danish citizen and since moving to Nordsjælland in November 2024 he has played in their P17 and P19 teams. Now the transfer load goes to Växjö and the contract is signed until 2030.''

The teenage sensation expressed his delight at joining up with the former elite division club for this season's campaign, telling the club's official website: ''Coming to Sweden and getting the chance here in Öster feels fantastic. I've only heard good things about the association and my first impressions are very positive, says Noah Ayorinde and continues:
''I would describe myself as a creative and technical player who likes to score points. I'm really looking forward to getting started here in Öster!''
Given his glaring promising talent, the Nigeria national football team technical handlers would now be keeping a close eye on his progress in Sweden as he could be a future prospect for the Super Eagles in the nearest future.
