Mamelodi Sundowns will take on FAR Rabat in the CAF Champions League final after both sides successfully advanced from their semi-final ties.
Sundowns secured their place in a second consecutive final with a 1-0 victory over Espérance Sportive de Tunis in Pretoria, completing a 2-0 aggregate win. Brayan León’s first-half strike proved decisive as the South African giants delivered a composed and controlled performance.
FAR Rabat, meanwhile, reached the final for the first time in their history after edging past RS Berkane 2-1 on aggregate. Despite a narrow 1-0 defeat in the second leg, their first-leg advantage was enough to see them through as they held firm under late pressure.
The final will be contested over two legs, with Sundowns hosting the first leg on May 15, 2026, before the return leg takes place in Morocco on May 24.
The matchup promises an intriguing battle between experience and ambition. Sundowns are chasing their second continental title after their 2016 triumph, while FAR Rabat are aiming to cap a historic campaign with their first CAF Champions League crown.
