The Uganda U-17 national team have officially unveiled their technical and support staff led by Ghana’s Laryea Kingston ahead of the upcoming CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The Young Cranes have put together a comprehensive backroom team to guide their preparations and campaign at the continental tournament. 

The head coach will be supported by assistant coaches Ibrahim Juma Sadam and Bengo Steven, who will play key roles in training sessions and match analysis.

Off the pitch, Katende Jerome has been named team manager, while Senfuka Patrick will serve as kit manager. Ayebo Felix takes up the role of performance coach, with Gumisiriza Michael Karmu appointed as physiotherapist to oversee player fitness and recovery.

The medical team will be led by team doctor Nakabago Emmanuel, ensuring the squad remains in top condition throughout the competition. The goalkeeping unit will be handled by Mugabi Yasin, while Tumusime Vincent has been assigned as safeguarding official.

They head into the tournament with a clear structure and defined roles, a move aimed at ensuring stability and efficiency during the competition as they look to book a spot at the FIFA World Cup. 

Uganda have been drawn in a tough Group B, where they will face Cameroon, Ivory Coast and DR Congo in what promises to be a competitive group stage.
