Head coach of Sudan, James Kwesi Appiah has disclosed they are aiming at what will be a huge win for them against Ghana and admitted the first leg was a very tough one.
The first leg ended goalless at the Ohene Gyan Stadium giving the Falcons of Jediane a huge advantage to qualify for next year's continental showpiece.
The Reds won their opening game against Niger, lost at Angola subsequently before holding the Black Stars yesterday leaving them with four points and are currently on the second position in Group F.
In a recent interview, the experienced gaffer confessed it was a very hard game but they managed to secure a point and are looking forward to grinding a convincing win in the second leg.
“Yesterday, Sudan played against Ghana. It was a difficult game but we managed to fight to get a draw."
“We are now going to play the return leg in Benghazi. It’s not going to be easy but Inshallah we are going to fight and make sure we get a big victory for Sudan,” he added.
The return encounter is slated for Tuesday, October 15, at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Benina, Libya.
