Egypt first-choice goalkeeper, Mohammed El Shenawy ahead of the game against Ghana tonight, has stated they ain't underrating any opponent and will approach the game against Ghana with so much seriousness.
The Pharaohs despite being touted as favourites in Group B, could get a good start after relying on a late Mohammed Salah penalty to salvage a 2-2 draw against Mozambique in their opening game.
This means, they will be approaching the game against the Black Stars with nothing but a winning mindset to boost their chances of advancing to the knockout round.
In a pre-match interview, the stalwart Al Ahly goalie said their major target is to win the competition for the eighth time but are very desperate on winning tonight to brighten that chances.
"We are focusing well on tomorrow’s match, and we have closed the chapter of the Mozambique game.
"We focus on ourselves. All teams are strong and performing well. I have watched matches of other teams, and they are all evolving. This is not a surprise for me.
"Our goal is to win the tournament, but right now, our focus is on the match against Ghana.
"Yes, there is high humidity in Ivory Coast, but we are accustomed to these conditions, and we must adapt to them to achieve our goal."
The game against Ghana is slated for 20:00GMT (8:00pm) tonight at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium.
