Black Stars winger Osman Bukari has committed to giving his best to Austin FC following his arrival in Texas to commence his MLS career.
The Ghanaian international signed a three-year contract as a Designated Player with the Texas-based club, joining from Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade.
Bukari received a warm welcome from the club's fans as he prepares to begin his journey in the United States.
"I am really excited to be here and I can't wait to be on the pitch. I can see amazing fans and I will be very happy to play in front of you and I hope very soon I will be on the pitch," he told the supporters upon meeting them for the first time.
The former KAA Gent player revealed that moving to the MLS has been a long-time aspiration, and he couldn't pass up the opportunity when it arose.
“Since last year I was thinking of playing in MLS, so when this offer came I didn’t want to say no to it. Austin is a beautiful city," he added.
Bukari joins Austin FC after achieving consecutive doubles with Red Star Belgrade in Serbia.
