The former Ghana U-23 defender has gone separate ways with the newly-promoted Dutch top-flight campaigners, the club have announced

Dutch Eredivisie outfit Heracles Almelo have parted company with Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Robin Polley after spending two seasons together in the Dutch football contests.

The 24-year-old right-back was part of the 2022-23 Kitchen Champion Division winning team of the Erve Asito Stadium outfit but failed to feature in game outings given his injury setbacks for the majority part of the season en route to their qualification to the elite division last term.

Announcing the departure of the former Feyenoord Rotterdam man, the club have said via their official website:

"Robin Polley leaves Heracles Almelo after two seasons. The 24-year-old defender will have time to look for a new club in the near future."

"The born Rotterdammer played in the youth for Spartaan '20 and Feyenoord. After Feyenoord, he signed a contract with ADO Den Haag, the club that rented him out to FC Dordrecht in the 2020-2021 season. After his rental period at De Schapekoppen, he exchanged the Hofstad for Almelo when he signed a contract with Heracles Almelo."

"In the 2022-2023 season, Robin Polley was part of the selection that became champion of the Kitchen Champion Division, but unfortunately he did not play due to injuries."

Robin, born to former Ghana international, Prince Polley, is yet to be capped by Ghana at the men's senior national team, the Black Stars.
