The 23-year-old midfielder of Ghanaian heritage has sealed his loan switch to the newly-promoted ltalian second-tier side in this current transfer window

Italian Serie B side Lecco Calcio have announced the loan signing of Italian-born Ghanaian midfielder Joshua Tenkorang from US Cremonese until the end of the 2023-24 football campaign.

The deal could be made permanent upon its expiration at the end of the season owing to clauses in the contract between both clubs per our outfit understanding.

"Calcio Lecco 1912 is pleased to announce that it has temporarily acquired the rights to the sports performances of Joshua Tenkorang from Cremonese for the 2023/24 season," an excerpt of a statement confirming the signing of the lanky midfield enforcer read.

"Welcome Joshua, we are waiting for you on the pitch with the bluceleste shirt!"

Joshua spent the 2022-23 season with lower division side Virtus Entella and is yet again to spent time in the second-tier contest after being farmed out by his parent club.

He together with his siblings, James Tenkorang still remain eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana on the international stage as both are yet to be capped by the ltalian national team.
