Ghanaian footballer Albert Adomah has received the esteemed PFA Community Champion award in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the local community while playing for Queens Park Rangers.
After being released from Nottingham Forest on October 5, 2020, Adomah joined his childhood club Queens Park Rangers on a two-year contract.
On February 1, 2021, he netted his first goal for QPR, securing a late winner in a 2-1 triumph over Watford.
"It's truly humbling to be nominated and represent a club like QPR, which does exceptional work in the community," expressed Adomah upon receiving the award.
"The credit must go to Andy Evans and his team," he added.
Adomah acknowledged the collective efforts of his fellow teammates, highlighting their significant contributions to the community throughout the season.
"As footballers, we must remember the privileged position we are in. Our supporters are vital, and giving back to the local area is of utmost importance," emphasized Adomah.
He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to assist the Community Trust on several occasions, acknowledging the remarkable work they have accomplished throughout the year.
