It has been claimed that Spanish superpower Real Madrid have set sights on England and Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and could land him given his contractual situation with his current employers.
However, should the England international cross-carpet to the La Liga giants eventually, that could see the 23-year-old at the English top-flight side as the ideal defender to fill the void left by their dependable right-back in the near future.
Frimpong would not come cheap for his admirers given his transfermarkt valuation of 50 million euros as his current contract is due to expire in 2028.
He has so far figured in 11 games by netting once and assisting three for Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the ongoing Bundesliga 2024/25 football campaign.
He is unfit to play for Ghana at the international level after being cap-tied by the Netherlands men's senior national team.
