The budding talented central midfielder has completed a loan move to the Portuguese top-tier club on the transfer deadline day.
Belgian-born of Ghanaian descent Pierre Dwomoh has officially joined SC Braga on a season-long loan deal from Royal Antwerp.
Dwomoh has joined the Red and White on a one-year loan deal with an option of €1 million to make the deal permanent after the 2022/23 season.
The club's official statement reads “Pierre Dwomoh Jr. is Gverreiro. The 18-year-old Belgian youth international arrives from Antwerp on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy set at €1 million.”
The 18-year-old enforcer, who started his football career at RSC Anderlecht before joining KRC Genk youth side in 2016, is rated among the best central midfielders below the age of 21.
He left KRC Genk last summer to seal a five-year move worth €2 million to Belgian Jupilier League side Royal Antwer.
He made fourteen appearances for Royal Antwerp last season.
Dwomoh was born to Ghanaian parents in Belgium which makes him eligible to represent Ghana at any level despite playing for Belgium at U15, U17 and U18 sides.
