Ghanaian winger Francis Amuzu is on the verge of completing his move to Brazil top division side Grêmio de Porto Alegre from Belgian Pro League side RSC Anderlecht, multiple reports from the Belgian media have claimed.
With his current deal set to expire on June 30, 2025, the former KV Mechelen Youth man is all set to leave his boyhood club after spending his entire youthful career with the Lotto Park campaigners in the Belgian football competitions.
According to a report filed by Brussels-based Newspaper La Dernière Heure, Amuzu has already bid a farewell to his team-mates and club's staff as he is on his way to Brazil to undergo his medical assessments after which he would put pen to paper if given a clean bill of health by the team medics.
lt's understood that Anderlecht will be recouping a transfer fee of 1.2 million euros over the sale of their youth product in this winter transfer window.
He has made over 250 appearances for the Belgian heavyweights in the summit of Belgium football competitions spanning across 8 years in his footballing career.
The Accra-born winger, who is born to former Ghana U20 star Theophilus Amuzu, still remains fit to play for Ghana Senior National Team, the Black Stars having featured for the Belgium U19 & U21 national youth teams.
