Ghanaian international, Alex Opoku Sarfo has been ranked the 15th best U-21 holding midfielder in the world currently, in a survey conducted by the CIES Football Observatory.
France and PSG star Warren Zaïre-Emery topped the list as the best U21 holder in football today, with Manchester City's Rico Lewis coming in second place. Two-time Africa's best young footballer Lamine Camara and Brighton duo Carlos Baleba and Jack Hinshelwood made the top five.
The 20-year-old was groomed by Ghanaian club Benab FC for couple of years before crossing carpet to Europe to sign for Cypriot topflight fold Aris Limassol.
He subsequently enjoyed a season long loan spell at AEZ Zakakiou last season where he made over 30 league appearances - an impressive performance that got him a return to his parent club.
In the ongoing season, the versatile midfielder is really enjoying himself and is currently a mainstay at Aris Limassol where he's played 14 times so far and is looking forward to getting more and contribute to his club's quest to winning the league title.
Alex Opoku Sarfo was part of the Black Satellites squad at the 2022 Maurice Revello Tournament in France and subsequently earned himself a Black Meteors spot.
