Benjamin Tetteh opened his goal account in NK Maribor's 1-1 draw against NŠ Mura in a Slovenian PrvaLiga game on Saturday.
The 27-year-old who joined the Purples in September this year from French side Metz was handed his first league start and he hit the ground running, scoring a stoppage-time goal at the Murska Sobota.
Oskar Drobne's NŠ Mura started the encounter brightly when Amadej Marosa opened the scoring in the 35th minute as the home side fired first blood.
After the restart and late in relation time, Tetteh drew the Purples level in the 90+3' minute to help Boštjan Cesar's men clinch an all-important away stalemate.
The Ghana international striker climbed off the bench to replace Gabonese forward Orphe Mbina in the 69th minute.
Tetteh, who featured in 13 games for Metz last season without notching, will hope to continue with his fine start in Slovenia when Maribor take on Storzic Preddvor in their next league game on Wednesday, October 30.
