French-born Ghanaian attacker Godson Kyeremeh has disclosed that he is not in rush to represent the West African at the international stage.
Kyeremeh, who is on the books of French Ligue 2 side SM Caen, in an interview said he does not pay much attention on earning an invitation to play for the Black Stars.
However, the 23-year-old winger stated that his doors are opened to represent either Ghana or French at the national team level.
He has been a top performer in the French second-tier league for SM Caen since earning promotion from the clubs' youth team in 2021.
"I don't necessarily pay too much attention to it. If they call me, obviously I think I will most certainly answer,” Kyeremeh said.
“It's a pride to play for your country. If they don't call me today today, maybe it's not the time or maybe there are better players in front of me”
“I’m not in a rush. I try not to think about it too much. I'm already concentrating on the game. SM Caen."
He was a regular for the Ligue 2 outfit Caen last season, scoring six goals and making three assists.
Kyeremeh made 38 appearances including 21 starts in Ligue 2 last season for Caen.
Despite his consistent performance, the attacker has been overlooked by the technical handlers of the national team.
Kyeremeh was born to Ghanaian parents in Melun, France.
