Anderlecht's midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru, says he will appreciate call-up into the national team but admits he must deserve it.
Ashimeru, 24, scored three goals and provided two assists in thirty-nine games for Anderlecht.
Majeed Ashimeru made his debut for the Black Stars in 2017 under Kwesi Appiah but failed to cement a place in the team.
The Black Stars have qualified for the World Cup and are currently participating in the Kirin Cup in Japan.
Ghana will face Chile in the second game of the tournament after losing by 4:1 in the first game against Japan.
Majeed Ashimeru says he's ready for Black Stars call-up ahead of the world cup.
"I am fully Ghanaian, I support the Blackstars, I won’t turn down an opportunity of playing for the team, will appreciate them calling me to come and play for them,” Ashimeru told JoyNews.
“It’s in every footballer’s plans, you have to earn it, you have to put in more hard work, I will make sure I can do what I can do,” He concluded
