The Norwegian fourth-tier campaigners have affirmed the capturing of the experienced Ghanaian midfielder ahead of the start of the new football season after once having stint with then Norwegian top-flight side Stabæk Football

Norwegian 3. Divisjon club Elverum Fotball manager Stian Aasen has confirmed the signing of veteran Ghanaian midfield enforcer Enoch Kofi Adu in an undisclosed period of contract.

The  35-year-old former Malmö FF mercurial enforcer, who joined Danish Series 1 side Værløse BK as a player-coach in February 2026, has now made a switch to the Norwegian lowly division outfit as he inches closer to bringing his footballing career to an end going forward.

Speaking in an interview, the man on the touchline at the Elverum Stadion has revealed his excitement over landing the former AIK player after a marathon of negotiations between both parties.

The Norwegian gaffer confirmed the signing of the one-time capped Black Stars midfield enforcer to newspaper Østlendingen: ''We've been working insanely hard on this for a long time. I'm very pleased that we finally managed to land the deal.''

The signing of the former Liberty Professionals man is set to benefit the Elverum-based club immensely given his vast experience in football contests across Europe, having already taken spells with Nice, AIK, FC Nordsjaelland, Stabæk Football, Club Brugge, Ekenäs IF, Mjällby AIF and Malmö FF so far in his playing career.

With international duty seemingly over for Enoch, he currently boasts of one cap with the Ghana senior national team on the international stage.
