The Anthens-based club have landed the signature of the 24-year-old forward of Ghanaian heritage from their top-tier rivals ahead of the January transfer window
Super League Greece side Panathinaikos have secured the services of Greece-born Ghanaian striker Andrews Tetteh from league rivals A.E. Kifisia.
The 1.88 meter tall centre-forward became a transfer target for many suitors across Europe following his tip-top form so far this season. However, those in charge of the Leoforos Stadium have now acted swiftly to land their target man at the expense of their competitors ahead of the next transfer window.
Announcing the signing of the Ghana-prospect frontman, the Greek elite division top dogs have said via their club's official website: ''Panathinaikos FC announces the acquisition of Andreas Tetteis and Pavlos Pantelidis from Kifissia.
''Tetteis was born on May 25, 2001 in Athens and this year with the Kifissia jersey he has 6 goals in 11 appearances. In total with Kifissia, of which he is one of the captains, he has played in 139 games, scoring 47 times. He began his career at PAO Rouf and at the age of 19 he moved to Kifissia. Last season he played for six months on loan at Panaitolikos.''
Tetteh, who has been in magnificent form so far this term, has netted six goals and assisted four in 11 game appearances across all competitions in the current 2025/26 campaign.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Athens-born centre-forward still remains eligible to switch nationality allegiance to represent Ghana on the international stage.
