Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjælland have announced the signing of lvorian teenager Diallo Sanoussi from their feeder club Right to Dream academy.

The 18-year-old will be spending time with the senior ranks for the 2024-25 football campaign.

"Ivorian Diallo Sanoussi has landed in Farum from the Right to Dream academy in Ghana. The 18-year-old midfielder is a new addition to the Superliga squad, and although an injury means the fans at Right to Dream Park will have to arm themselves with patience before seeing the new number 27 in action, there are high expectations for Sanoussi," an official confirmation over his capturing read.

The lvorian budding star had this to tell his club's official website after sealing his move to the Right to Dream Park campaigners: "It feels good to have signed with FC Nordsjælland. I know this is a place known for developing young talent and I have seen for myself how it has gone with several of my good friends from the Right to Dream academy in Ghana. So I have no doubt that this is also the best place for my development. - I already know some of the players from my time at the academy, but also through trips with the international academy. So I'm really looking forward to getting started and playing with this talented group of players. Right now I am very motivated to work hard to recover from my injury and with God's will I will come back even stronger and better than before."

Sporting director Alexander Riget added: "Diallo has gone from being an offensive winger to being a slightly more central midfielder, where he benefits from his very high technical level. He covers a really large area of the pitch with his intensity and pressure, but also contributes with goals and assists, so it's a really exciting mix. - He has impressed for many years at the international academy, and especially last year he delivered a number of really good performances that caught the eye of everyone who was down to watch the matches. Now, unfortunately, he has run into a rather long-term injury, so it will be some time before the fans get the pleasure of seeing him in Right to Dream Park. But I hope it will be worth the wait."

The youngster is yet to be cap-tied by the lory Coast senior national team at the international level.
