Ghana and St. Gallen goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi has been recognized as one of Africa's most valuable goalkeepers.
In the latest update from Transfermarkt, Ati-Zigi was valued at €1.8 million and ranked 12th on a list featuring the continent's elite goalkeepers.
He ranks behind Cameroon and Manchester United star André Onana, who leads the list with a valuation of €35 million.
Following closely in second place is Morocco’s Bono, currently with Al-Hilal, valued at €9 million, while Senegal’s Edouard Mendy, representing Al-Ahli, occupies third place at €8 million.
Completing the top five are Cape Verde’s Bruno Varela, goalkeeper for Vitória Guimarães, with a valuation of €4 million.
Yahia Fofana of the Ivory Coast ranks sixth with a valuation of €3.5 million. In seventh place is Morocco's Alaa Bellaarouch, valued at €2 million, followed by Burkina Faso's Hervé Koffi, who also holds a valuation of €2 million in eighth place.
Close behind are Algeria's Anthony Mandrea, Senegal's Seny Dieng, and Morocco's El Mehdi Benabid, all tied with a valuation of €2 million.
This is the highest valuation the Ghana number one has achieved in his young career, marking a steady rise since his debut for the Black Stars.
