Former Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi has admitted the recent performance of the Black Stars has been very shambolic and added there hasn't been any changes despite changing coaches in the last five years.
The renowned football administrator is the longest serving President of the Ghana FA having served for thirteen years (2005-2018) and was also the founder of 2015 Ghanaian champions Wa All Stars (Legon Cities FC).
The 56-year-old was handed a lifetime ban from all football related activities including a fine of $550,000 by FIFA in October 2018 after the 'Number 12' expose.
However, an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) help reduced the ban from a lifetime to 15 years and also the fine to $110,000.
Speaking with Kwame Tanko this morning on Lawson TV/FM in Kumasi, the former CAF vice-president stated appointing and sacking coaches and still with no results signifies things hasn't been good the Black Stars.
He further dug deep into what convinced him to appoint Serbian gaffer Milovan Rajevac to lead the Black Stars in 2018.
"Our Black Stars hasn't been good. We've appointed five coaches in five years but we are not seeing any changes so judging as an outsider, things hasn't been great."
"Anytime I'm doing a recruitment, I want someone who is hungry for successors not people who have achieved already
"Milo convinced me that he will be able to endure the hardship in Africa and that made appointed him. He told me he was on bus with his former club Vojvodina for 1,000 kilometers and he was on the bus together with the players. That honestly convinced me to appoint him and he excelled when giving the opportunity."
