The Ghana Football Association have proposed the newly-built Tarkwa and Aboaso (TnA) Stadium to CAF as the new venue to host the Black Stars in their subsequent matches.
This is on the back of the Confederation of African Football's decision to withdraw its approval of the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi to host standard matches due to the current poor state of the facility
The stadium has been in a very poor state for sometime now with the pitch looking very bad at the moment and was affirmed after Ghana's opener against Angola last week in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
This means the four-time African champions will have to opt for a neutral venue for their subsequent games until they have any of their various stadia back in a good state and meet CAF's standard.
With this, the Ghana FA have now opted for the TnA Stadium to host the Black Stars from now henceforth and have already submitted to CAF waiting for approval, per speculations.
The Black Stars will look to redeem themselves next month after a poor start to the AFCON qualifiers when they take on Sudan in a double header.
