The Ghana Football Association has named new Black Stars Management Committee with some prominent figures on it with the hopes of making things right for the senior men national team going forward.
The last committee led by Mr. Mark Addo existed for two years before it was finally dissolved in November last year following the Black Stars' failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations
The new Black Stars Management Committee will be chaired by Heart of Lions FC owner and GFA Executive Council member Dr. Randy Abbey, whose main duty will be to engage the government for all Black Stars activities.
Former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has been named vice chairman of the committee and will focus much on handling player relations.
The other three members on the committee comprise of another ExCo member and Greater Accra RFA Chairman Samuel Aboabire, Presidents of Medeama SC and FC Samartex; Moses Armah Parker and Richard Nsenkyire respectively.
The main aim of the new Management Committee is to help patch up all cracks to help bring the four-time African champions back on track following their recent awful performances at major tourneys and in qualifying matches as well.
The Black Stars will face Chad and Madagascar in match-day five and six of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March this year.
