Experienced Ghanaian gaffer, Bashir Hayford has advised club owners in the country to have a pinch of respect for Ghanaian coaches.

The veteran tactician said this in an interview with Onua FM when quizzed about his take on Coach Maxwell Konadu’s imminent move to South Africa.

However, in agreement - Hayford thinks Maxwell Konadu's move to Black Leopards is good and must be fully supported.

“...this is the time our sports administrators and club owners must make sure they have little respect for coaches [and] their contractual obligations.

“I don’t know what happened but it is a job opportunity and he also wants to try his luck outside,” Coach Bashir Hayford said.

Maxwell Konadu will fly out to South Africa in the coming days after been handed the head coach role at the Limpopo based National First Division side.
