Ghanaian football sensation Antoine Semenyo, currently with AFC Bournemouth, has set his sights on finding the back of the net in the upcoming clashes against Mali and Central African Republic (CAR).
These crucial matches mark the latest chapter in the Black Stars' journey towards the 2026 FIFA World Cup, following a victory over Madagascar and a narrow defeat to Comoros.
Scheduled for June 6th in Bamako against Mali and June 10th at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi against CAR, these games carry added significance as they represent the first official fixtures under the guidance of newly appointed head coach Otto Addo.
Semenyo, speaking to reporters after a rigorous training session at the University of Ghana Stadium, expressed both team and personal ambitions, emphasizing, "I want to score in both games if I’m honest. As a striker you want to score. Score goals and help the team get forward up the pitch. That’s it for me."
With Ghana's eyes set on securing their fifth FIFA World Cup appearance, Semenyo's determination underscores the team's relentless pursuit of success on the international stage.
