Alhaji Grusah has boldly called for the dissolution of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), urging President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to take decisive action.
His call follows increasing criticism of GFA President Kurt Okraku, particularly after the Black Stars’ failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Grusah, a prominent football administrator, voiced his dissatisfaction with the state of Ghanaian football under Okraku’s leadership. He dismissed concerns about potential FIFA sanctions, asserting that dissolving the GFA would not harm Ghana’s standing in international football.
“I’m calling on President Akufo-Addo and the Sports Minister to dissolve the Ghana Football Association (GFA). FIFA will not sanction Ghana for that,” Grusah said.
Furthermore, Grusah expressed his willingness to support any movement aimed at removing Kurt Okraku from office.
“I will gladly accept and be involved in any attempt to take Kurt out of power,” he added.
