Black Stars coach, Otto Addo, has defended players who buy time before accepting to switch to feature for the Ghanaian National team.
The Black Stars have qualified for the world cup in Qatar later this year after their superior goal difference over Nigeria.
Ghana are in the same group with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
Finally, the Ghana Football Association have confirmed that Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, Mohammed Salisu, Stephen Ambrosius, Ransford-Yeboah Koningsdorffer, and Patrick Pfeiffer have accepted to represent Ghana.
Otto Addo says the decision to represent a country is a tough one and admits that the new players will improve the Black Stars.
"Since March we’ve been talking to a lot of players who we think can have an impact on the team,” he told BBC.
“I can understand it can be a difficult decision, especially if you were born in another country and you’re young.
“It’s a lifetime decision, unlike at club level where you can play for several teams, so it’s very difficult and I understand them better, having been born in Germany.
“But we want those who have decided to get familiar with the team and the staff as soon as possible," he added.
