Black Stars goalkeeper's trainer, Fatau Dauda has lauded head coach Otto Addo for his great leadership qualities and has so much admiration for him as he strongly feels the senior national team is in good hands.

The 39-year-old ex- goalie left his role with the Sudan national team to accept the role of new goalkeeper's trainer for the Black Stars early this year after the appointment of the former FC Nordsjaelland trainer.

Otto Addo, since his appointment, has guided the four-time champions to four matches so far; having won all two he's played competitively so far against Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in early June. 

Speaking on working with the former Borussia Dortmund trainer so far, the former AshantiGold SC and Enyimba FC shot-stopper disclosed Otto is a great person and doesn't leave them out in any decision he takes for the team and strongly believes that attitude of his will help the team thrive very well in future. 

"He doesn't hide anything from us. We always plan together, make decisions together, and have meetings to get the best out of the team."

Fatau Dauda was the Black Stars' first-choice goalkeeper in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2014 FIFA World Cup having made 26 international appearances.

Ghana will kickstart their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola on September 5, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
