Aduana FC have confirmed a major squad reshuffle ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, as the club looks to bounce back from a disappointing campaign and mount a stronger title challenge.
The two-time Ghana Premier League champions are undertaking what club officials describe as a “strategic rebuilding process” that involves departures as part of a long-term vision to restore the club's competitiveness.
In a statement released by the club’s communications department, the Fire side revealed that several senior players will be leaving, with a wave of new recruits expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
Among the players released by the club are Zakaria Mumuni, Justus Torsutsey, Richard Mahama, Gabriel Akwasi Mensah, Gideon Boateng, Gyawu Junior, and Emmanuel Partey, who are no longer part of the club’s technical plans and are free to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
In addition, Aduana FC confirmed that they have reached mutual agreements to part ways with five other players: Kwadwo Amoako, Emmanuel Poku Peprah, Mediator Atakorah Offei, Tijani Cisse, and Abdel Latif Bamba.
The decision to overhaul the playing body comes after Aduana fell short of their top-four target last season, finishing 9th on the league standings.
Kickgh.com understands that the club has reportedly identified key areas in defence, midfield, and attack for reinforcement.
While names of incoming players have yet to be officially announced, the Dormaa-based side is expected to blend experienced domestic talents with emerging prospects, including potential signings from Division One and youth academies.
Aduana FC are aiming to return to the upper tier of Ghanaian football after inconsistent performances in recent seasons. With pre-season preparations already underway, the club’s technical team is expected to finalise the new-look squad by mid-July.
