Former Tema Youth coach Nebojsa Kapor is on the verge of becoming the new head coach for the defending champions of the Ghana Premier League, Medeama SC, as reported by Onua Sports.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina tactician, aged 37, is expected to be officially unveiled by Medeama, who stand as Ghana's sole representatives in the ongoing 2023/24 CAF Champions League campaign.
The forthcoming announcement marks a pivotal shift in leadership for Medeama, with Kapor taking charge of the team. Concurrently, Evans Adotey, who has been in the coaching role, is slated to revert to his position as the Technical Director within the club.
Kapor brings valuable experience, holding a UEFA License A coaching certificate and having previously coached Chinese side Yu Feng Football Club, as well as the youth teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina's club FK Leotar Trebinje.
This strategic coaching change aims to enhance Medeama's performance and prospects in both domestic and continental competitions.
The move comes on the heels of Medeama's recent 3-0 defeat to Young Africans in a Matchday four fixture of the CAF Champions League.
