Maryland Bobcats first choice goalkeeper, Felix Annan, has opened up on why he left the Porcupine Warriors to play in the United States of America after a year.

Annan, before terminating his contract mutually with the Ghanaian giants, was the club’s captain and many never saw him leaving the club anytime soon.

 
Nonetheless, that was not the case and his exit somehow has raked in many issues may have necessitated his move to seek for greener pastures. 
 
Speaking on Kumasi-based Opemsuo Radio in an exclusive interview, the former Kotoko goalkeeper indicated that he left the club without any malice or pains.
 
“I wanted to taste a new challenge and see how the other side of the profession is in other part of the world after giving my all to the team and Asanteman. For me, I felt it was time for me to leave having played more than eight seasons and achieve a lot of stuff," said Felix Annan. 
 
He concluded that, “There is nothing bad that necessitated my move. I only wanted a new challenge because I felt that I had done everything in the game locally. 
 
The product of Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord (now West Africa Football Academy) joined Asante Kotoko in the year 2011 when he was 16 years.
 
The 27-year-old won three Ghana Premier League titles and MTN FA Cup twice at Kotoko before bring his stay at Kotoko to an end.
