Medeama SC have returned to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League after a two-game winless run following a 1-0 win against Bibiani Goldstars in the match-week 16 fixture at Akoon Park.

The first half looked balanced in the early minutes with Bibiani Goldstars enjoying majority of the possession but they failed to make their chances count as it ended in a scoreless draw.
Medeama looked rejuvenated after the break when the match was seen to be a dull encounter with the Yellow and Mauves opening the score after hour-mark through a 74th minute penalty.
Defender Kwadwo Amoako snatched all the three maximum points for Medeama SC when he stepped up to convert the spot-kick.
Goldstars showed glimpses of levelling the score in the remaining minutes of the game but the back line of Medeama SC stood resolute to cruise to a narrow victory.
