Bibiani Gold Stars were among the busiest Ghana Premier League clubs on transfer deadline night, completing 11 signings while parting ways with 12 players, including cashing in on three departures.
The Miners, determined to strengthen all areas of the pitch ahead of the forthcoming campaign, sealed a string of deals before the window closed late on Sunday, August 31.
Leading the arrivals is former Kotoko striker Sampson Eduku, who adds firepower to the attack. He is joined by midfield trio Emmanuel Fosu Kyei (Skyy FC), Emmanuel Kontor (Nations FC), and Francis Twene (Bechem United).
On the wings, Gold Stars snapped up Barimah Baah from Nations FC, Emmanuel Agyei from Basake Holy Stars, and Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng from Tanzania’s Pamba Jiji FC.
Defensive reinforcements include Emmanuel Ankrah (Nsoatreman FC), Edward Agyemang (Vision FC), and Kwadwo Bonsu, a goalkeeper from Accra Lions. Up front, Bernard Kesse also arrives from Accra Lions to bolster the forward line.
With 12 departures — three generating transfer fees — the restructuring marks one of the boldest squad transformations of the Ghana Premier League window.
The new-look Miners will now be tasked with pushing Bibiani Gold Stars higher up the table as they gear up for the 2025/26 season.
