General Manager of Great Olympics, Oluboi Commodore, has revealed that their Ghana Premier League matchday nine game against Nsoatreman was not part of the initial matches to be televised.
Commodore stated that they were only briefed about the plan to televise it on their way to Bechem United for a game on Wednesday.
The Dade boys hosted and defeated Nsoatreman 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium and move to the second spot on the Ghana Premier League log.
The match was delayed for more than 30 minutes with no arrangements made for the use of floodlights. However, 35 minutes, ultimately, was added to the game.

Clarifying why the match was rescheduled to Monday from Sunday, Commodore said the match was not scheduled to be televised on television.
“This match was supposed to be played on Sunday at 3 pm. It was not on StarTimes’ programme to telecast it. On our way to Bechem I had a call that they were pleading with me to allow the match to be shifted to Monday,” Commodore told Asempa FM.
“I agreed and the schedule for week nine was amended and StarTimes would televise it at 4 pm. When the match is going to be played into darkness it means the organisers had arranged for floodlights.
“Why 4 pm? There was no good reason for the match to be postponed to 4 pm.”
