Junior Kaaba, the former Hearts of Oak striker, has recently completed a transfer to Maltese club St. Andrews FC during the ongoing transfer window.
Kaaba, a strong and powerful striker, joined Hearts of Oak at the beginning of the recently concluded Ghana Football season but did not meet expectations during his time with the club.
Although initially seen as their key forward, things did not unfold as anticipated for the 23-year-old. He only made eight competitive appearances for the Accra-based club.
Kaaba featured in six league games for Hearts of Oak and also participated in both of their CAF Confederation Cup matches against AS Real of Bamako. Overall, he played 346 minutes for Hearts of Oak but was unable to score a goal.
Unfortunately, after just a few months since his arrival, Hearts of Oak terminated Kaaba's three-year contract, and he returned to his home country of Cameroon.
Confirmation from Kaaba's management, led by Manager Amadou Tigana, states that he has joined St. Andrews FC. St. Andrews FC finished third in the Malta league in the previous season, and Kaaba has signed a two-year deal with the club.
