Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has described his team’s 2-1 defeat to Legon Cities as an "exciting game of two halves" after the Porcupine Warriors conceded their first loss of the Ghana Premier League season.

The match, played on Wednesday night at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, marked Legon Cities' first win after a tough start to their campaign.

Speaking post-match, Ogum offered brief responses to media questions but emphasized the game’s intensity and unpredictability.

“It happens all over the world. He who is down fears no fall. It was an exciting game, a game of two halves,” Ogum remarked.

Ogum acknowledged the sting of the defeat, particularly given the team’s strong second-half performance. “It is not the best way to lose, especially if you look at the way we played in the second half; it shouldn't have happened, but then it has. We just have to put ourselves together and move on.”

Asante Kotoko will look to bounce back on Sunday as they host Heart of Lions in Obuasi, while Legon Cities face Young Apostles in Accra the following day.
